Billies is looking for a part-time confident, energetic and experienced Sales Associate. The successful candidate will be have some knowledge of plants and flowers, be comfortable engaging with customers and have the ability to multitask in a fast paced team environment.
This is a physical job lifting; moving plants, lifting buckets and climbing ladders are all part of the day-to-day tasks, there is never a dull moment! We require this candidate to be available on weekends as well as during the week.
- Availability to work 3 to 4 shifts a week (24 to 32 hrs)
- At least 2 years experience in a fast paced retail sales driven environment
- Exceptional customer communication skills: Confidently, engaging and respectful with customers both in person and on the phone
- Have a passion for plants and flowers with the creative ability and the interest in making spaces beautiful
- Ability to multitask in a busy team environment
- Mature and responsible
- Have a positive, energetic, upbeat attitude
- Detail oriented
- Sense of humour
- Proficiency with POS systems, computers and cash handling
- Excellent decision making ability and problem solving
